We stopped in here as one of the breweries on our tour. Typical small brewery turned mainstream and treat customers like they know nothing. The guy that gave us the tour, well I think he was reading a script. I'm getting ready to brew for myself and we had someone in the group that was a very knowledgeable and experienced home brewer. Between us we quickly determined the tour guide either had no idea what he was talking about or the beer is made with an emphasis of get it out the door and quality is a job for some other brewery.

The Hops & Bolts IPA is alright but not a great one for someone looking for a good IPA. Like I've seen before of small breweries bought up by a large company, these are merely a gateway beer. Meant for people who are looking for more than the standard big box stuff to ease your way into the full flavour experience of true craft beer.

If you're a main stream beer drinker then yes come here! Get involved in higher quality beer, use this as a stepping stone. If you are already a craft beer drinker you'll probably be disappointed.
